Festival collectors should head to the west end of Glasgow this weekend. Three events are within stumbling distance of each other for those who don’t travel well. Saturday 23 June is The Hidden Lane Festival. The cobbled lane near Mother India’s cafe in Argyle Street, which is home to artists’ studios and creative businesses, will have live music, DJs, seated food area with hogroast, licensed bars, market stalls, fashion shows, and this year, the all new Jazz lounge.
Saturday 23 and 24 of June are the last two days of the month-long West End Festival. Ashton Lane (lane pictured above) is the site for the Sunday market with live music and family entertainment on Sunday 24 June. On the same day Oran Mor is host to 10 bands on two stages including We Were Promised Jetpacks and Three Blind Wolves.
