Cocktails and Indian street food at Dhoom, Dunfermline’s new Indian restaurant

Dhoom, the new ‘streetery’ serving cocktails and Indian food opens in Dunfermline on Wednesday 17 October 2018. Launched by D. Prasad, who also opened an Indian restaurant called Handi in Glenrothes just over a year ago, the Dunfermline restaurant is initially serving a taster menu before launching the full a la carte menu in several weeks.  Research for the menu was undertaken by the owner after spending time travelling around

Pop up Gin Bar, Old Town Barber Club: Launch of ’20 by Maygate Gin’

Glasgow has Tenement TV, Washington has Tiny Desk, London has Sofar Sounds and now Dunfermline has The Loop, an ambitious new project from Loopmaniac Studios. The Youtube-hosted show features live music sessions from performers – local and from further afield – whose music makes the hair on the back of producer Liam Saunders’ hair stand on end, as well as interviews and coverage of art exhibitions and other cultural events.
