Outwith Festival: Day 1 schedule

The inaugural Outwith Festival is now underway. Launched this morning at Fire Station Creative with a well attended event for Dunfermline BIDS members and other stakeholders, the festival is already attracting extensive media coverage and tickets for all festival events are selling fast. Outwith Festival: events and fun for children

Children of Outwith is not a film by M Night Shyamalan but a series of fun events and activities for children during Dunfermline’s brand new arts festival Outwith. On Saturday 9 September, Dine at 29 in East Port will host Baby Discos at 11am  and 1pm. Outwith Festival: Tycoon and the Bard book launch

On Friday 8 September John Cairney launches his latest book The Tycoon and the Bard at the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum.  The well known Scots actor will read passages from the book and discuss with Carnegie International Fellow Angus Hogg how the world’s richest man Andrew Carnegie was inspired by Scotland’s greatest poet Robert Burns. Bowhouse Food Weekend – farm based food event this Saturday and Sunday

Walk Fife launch crowd funding campaign

Walk Fife, which is run by volunteers, shares walking routes, paths and trails for exploring the Kingdom of Fife on foot.
